The new Mahindra Thar 2025 continues its iconic boxy shape but with a modern twist. The front grille now sports Mahindra’s new twin-peaks logo and bolder vertical slats for a more dominant stance. The circular LED headlamps are now fully automatic with integrated DRLs, and the front bumper is redesigned to enhance aerodynamics while giving a tougher off-road look. The SUV now rides on larger 19-inch alloy wheels with off-road ready tyres, while the wheel arches and cladding add to its muscular appearance. Interior and Features
Inside, the Thar 2025 offers a completely new premium cabin that balances toughness and technology. The dashboard gets a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a digital driver display. The cabin feels more refined with soft-touch materials, ventilated leather seats, and better sound insulation for long journeys. The SUV now offers wireless charging, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and a premium sound system for a richer experience. Engine and Performance

It will offer the tried-and-tested 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine producing around 200 PS power and 370 Nm torque, and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that delivers 175 PS power and 400 Nm torque. Both engines are available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, along with Mahindra’s advanced 4XPLOR 4WD system that ensures superior off-road performance.
